I am a veteran of the US Army and have been a patient of Dr. O for going on 9 years at Apex Medical Center on Wellness Way in Las Vegas, NV. Dr. Oruene is AMAZING, I can't say enough about his medical expertise, his advice, and his overall care for me the past 9 yeas as my issues have changed in that time period. I have had issues with the Veterans Affairs and their "Community Care" for the past couple of months. They have made changing medication and dosages (which sometimes needs to happen over time) almost impossible and extremely time-consuming. The process is so terrible and time-consuming that most veterans quit pursuing as the "prior authorization process" is so outrageous. Unfortunately, I have had to go through this process on several occasions with the VA so I have become accustomed to their beyond ridiculous criteria and timeframe for resolution/denials. This past week of October 13th, I saw Dr. O with my regular required monthly visit and things went well. I then went to the VA pharmacy to pick up my medication and they said it was "AGAIN" under prior authorization review. I went though the same process the month prior (September) and was told the issue was resolved by the VA and I would have no issues with the medication change. Yesterday, unfortunately, I was told my medication was once again denied and under Prior Authorization review (for the same issue as before, that was resolved in September 2026). So, I had to go back to Apex Medical Center today, Oct. 14, and I spoke with Wennie, who treated me with professionalism and did the best that she could given the circumstances. Then when another staff member saw and heard my issues she intervened and told me the issues were resolved. At the time, they were not, as the VA was not being forthcoming and 100% honest with what Apex Medical was doing. The VA mad it look like Apex was at fault, when in reality, Apex was doing what they said they did and were doing to remedy the situation. I applaud Mayra for stepping in and assisting Wennie and with the both of them, they got everything in place for the VA to review and cannot use them against me in the prior authorization mess. Since the addition of Wennie to the office and the proactiveness of Mayra and the front desk attendant who went out of her way to assist me too (Rosie), I will say that Apex truly looked out for their patient's best interest yesterday and today. Thank you Dr. O, Wennie. Mayra and Rosie for all you have done and hopefully continue to do for all patients of Apex Medical Center on Wellness Way.

Dr. O is a great provider in treating patients. His empathy to pain patients is undeniable. I would like to say that Eli who is Dr. O’s nurse is also very knowledgeable and his approach is heart warming. Thank you .fir all you do!

Dr. Bonnick is amazing. She is the best PCP that i've ever had. She listens to everything you say, all of your symptoms then discusses everything with you. She really takes time to get to know you as a patient. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a PCP.

Dr. Ezzy was very nice and very well educated and explained everything to me very thoroughly and showed me where things were at on the parts of my skeleton that were not working right and tested everything, The only thing I was a little disappointed with is, I am left in pain until I can ultimately have the procedure that I need, but hopefully the procedure will fix me which I am happy about. I am happy that someone can fix it. I know he thinks I am onto too much medicine as it is, but I still I’m in pain. I have very limited options when it comes to Advil, Tylenol, and muscle relaxers anything like that and it’s not that I’m asking for narcotics. I just don’t know what to do. In the meantime it gets exhausting having pain every day..

I love Rachel but the call center personnel are the worst!!! I’ve been hung up on, refused an appointment and given no help on refilling a prescription. If you get a man on the phone, either ask to speak to a supervisor or hang up and try again.
